Mielyssia Name Changes to M:LYS

Hi Everyone:

This is Mielyssia your singer and composer for Mielyssia Music. I have talked to fans. The number one complaint I have received is that they cannot spell my name. Most people who look for me on the internet cannot remember how to spell the name. They look for me on Google and find variations but if the name is not spelled exactly the way it was intended then it defaults to other names.

I have tried to change this before by shortening my name to Miely. However if you type in Miely in a search engine guess who pops up? That's right! Miley Cyrus. She dominates the entire web! I have never realized how many websites have her featured or have information about her. We are talking millions! So I thought about it long and hard and then a computer glitch spelled my name M:LYS.
It looks cool on paper and on albums! So I have officially changed my Band Name to M:LYS
It is pronounced Me'lys just like Mielyssia but it is very abbreviated. It has a futuristic edge to it that I really like! So my singer name is still Mielyssia listed as the vocalist but the Music Name is the new name. If you want to purchase my newest album I have put it up on CD BABY. Finally!!!Look for my newest album with the name M:LYS.  That's the new name and it is official now.

Scanner is out! I will post the link soon when it is on Amazon, Radio, Pandora, and all of the other Digital Distribution Stores. I put it out there for mass production and it is being distributed world wide! I have fans in Iraq, Pakistan, France, Greece, Norway, Iceland, and mostly in Europe. So...I wanted every country to have access to my album SCANNER.. I will post the link in a week or so.Good new! I have newer songs coming out. One song I posted today is called "Side Stepping".

I decided to venture out and become more experimental with the Techno Industrial Scene.
You might notice some pitch variations in my newer stuff. I love Phasers and Pitch Shifters and Vocodex so while some fans say "I want to hear your natural voice" it is time to indulge in the cooler efx that Rappers, Techno, and Edgier bands use for effects. I love Effects in all of my Vox.
You haven't heard nothing yet lol!  I also learned of the RD Kick and the 909 Kicks so the drums are harder and more dance oriented. I have learned more Mastering tricks and my music is sounding way better than my previous stuff. I posted my song on Soundcloud and got Likes and Shares! That is new. When people share your music that means you are heading in a great direction.

So as you know my songs are always changing and so I am very happy with my new genre
Techno Industrial and of course I add a lot of Pop sound to my songs. So if you don't like Industrial Pop music then...well sorry. lol! I can't get enough of that sound. I am listening to bands like AND ONE and Hocico because they have such awesome music and I really want to integrate the edgier sounds into my songs. You might hear it in SCANNER. If you want to know how I write songs?
I listen to bands I really feel influenced by and then the same day I start playing with my keyboards and music software program to get fresh ideas and new starts with my sound. The rest is just layering over the basic beat and suddenly lyrics come to mind so I just Free Style it until something hits.
